![]() ![]() That is the main reason why I would like to use a cloud service for the daily backup, and time to time to continue to dig up in the yard to grab my hidden hard drive ! -) I totally agree with you on the fact that only One backup is not enough, especially if this backup is stored in the cloud.įor sure I will continue to copy my files locally on my external hard drive, but because I think it's useless to store this drive in the same place than my computers, then it's not possible to make daily or weekly backups. ╚═ UniFi Switch Flex XG ═╤═ UniFi Switch Flex XG ══╤╦═ Byarlant (2×2.Thank you Lady Fitzgerald for your reply. ![]() ** = cable passed from Media Center to Bedroom └─ Work Laptop** (Startech USB-PD Dock) * = cable passed to Bedroom from Media Center ├─ Sony XR65A80K (Google TV) ═══ is Multi-Gigabit ├─ Sony Playstation 4 Notes: └─ UniFi Switch 8 ─────────┬─ UniFi Access Point nanoHD (PoE) │ └── Narrative (Belkin USB-PD Ethernet Dongle) ╚═ UniFi Switch Flex XG ═╤═ UniFi Switch Flex XG ══╤╦═ Byarlant (2×2.5G NICs) ║ └── UniFi Switch 8-60W ─┬─ Veda (management) Google Fiber Webpass ────── UniFi Security Gateway ─── UniFi Switch Flex XG ═╦╤╦═ Veda (general traffic) Media Center/Video Capture ( Jesta Cannon) : Ryzen 5 1600X | ASRock B450M Pro4 R2.0 | Noctua NH-L12S | 16GB Crucial DDR4 3200MT/s CAS-22 | EVGA GTX750Ti SC | UMIS NVMe SSD 256GB / Seagate 1.5TB HDD | Corsair CX450M | Hauppauge ImpactVCB-PCIe | Mellanox ConnectX-2 10G NIC | LG UH12NS30 BD-ROM | Silverstone Sugo SG-11 CaseĬamera: Sony ɑ7II w/ Meike Grip | Sony SEL24240 | Samyang 35mm ƒ/2.8 | Sony SEL50F18F | Sony SEL2870 (kit lens) | PNY Elite Perfomance 512GB SDXC card TrueNAS Server ( Veda) : Xeon E3-1241v3 | Supermicro X10SLL-F | Corsair H60 | 32GB Micron DDR3L ECC 1600MHz | 4x 10TB WD Whites / 4x 14TB Seagate Exos / 2x 1TB HGST 2.5" / 2x Samsung PM963a 960GB SSD / 1x Kingston 16GB SSD | Seasonic Prime Fanless 500W | Mellanox ConnectX-3 10G NIC | LSI 9207-8i HBA | Fractal Design Node 804 Case (side panels swapped to show off drives) Laptop ( Narrative) : Lenovo Flex 5 81X20005US | Ryzen 5 4500U | 16GB RAM (soldered) | Vega 6 Graphics | SKHynix P31 1TB NVMe SSD | Intel AX200 Wifi (all-around awesome machine) Main System ( Byarlant) : Ryzen 7 5800X | Asus B550-Creator ProArt | EK 240mm Basic AIO | 16GB G.Skill DDR4 3200MT/s CAS-14 | XFX Speedster SWFT 210 RX 6600 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB / Samsung 960 PRO 512GB / Crucial MX500 2TB / Crucial MX500 500GB / WD White 7200RPM 8TB | Corsair RM750X | Intel X540-T2 10G NIC | Inateck USB 3.0 Card | Hyte Y60 Case | Dell U3415W Monitor | Keychron K4 Brown (white backlight) ("files.vads" is a custom filter I have from a project I'm working on) They aren't strictly necessary (Windows will rebuild if needed), but can be reenabled in the sync filter settings. So just to try i deleted this folder on the copied disk, then i manualy copied the original in windows, pasted to the other disk and now both says 21 files in properties.įFS by default skips thumbs.db and other system files. ![]() It's just all images in this folder but for some reason windows properties says 21 for the original folder and 20 for the copied one. I enabled the "hidden files" option in windows. So now i check one folder on the original disk and the copied version has 20 file inside when i open them and count them in both folders, but this same folder says 21 files when i click properties on the original and 20 files in the properties of the copied folder. Why does it says 262 756 at the bottom middle button? Then when i compare both folder in freefilesync it says it's the same and all good but when i click properties in windows on both folders that were copied the original one is 153 261 files and then the copied files on the other disk is 153 084 files.įreefilesync says it's 246 376 files in both folders and all is suposed to be the same on both sides. I copied all files from a folder to another disk using the software. Hello i tried for the first time FreeFileSync software. ![]()
